That's not mine...
Lately I look at my hands or feet or catch a glimpse of myself walking by a mirror and I seriously wonder, "WHO IS THAT?!" I am feeling very pregnant these days, but I am so excited and other things make up for it, like feeling her roll around or push her foot out at me. 4 weeks to go...

34 Weeks
Today I am 34 weeks! I'm nervous, anxious, and overly excited. I have been really sick the last 2 weeks which has been awesome (not), and it was the icing on the cake when I went to my appointment today and I asked my doctor if I should be feeling better yet. The following conversation pursued:
Doctor: How are you feeling?
Me: Alright. Shouldn't I feel better by now? My throat still hurts and I am still coughing a lot.
Doctor: How long have you been on the antibiotic?
Me: 7 days.
Doctor: Oh, yeah. It's way to soon for you to feel better.
Me: (Nothing) (Thinking in my head, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!")
He then proceeded to tell me how sorry he was that slowing healing was part of pregnancy, I think he saw that I was about to burst into tears and felt bad.
Anyway, I am so excited to meet my little girl! We finally have things purchased and ready for the most part. It makes it seem so real. Well I better go now, my sweet husband is calling for me to watch Batman. :-)

Graduate School...Here We Come!
Last night we found out that Tyler was accepted to New York Film Academy of Los Angeles, Producing Graduate Program. We are so excited! Tyler applied to a total of 4 graduate schools, 3 in California and 1 in Utah. This is the first school we have heard back from and was our #1 choice. When we visited the campus back in March both of us felt very good about it. We will still wait and see where else he gets in before making a final decision-so between now and then there will be a lot of weighing options and praying. We are so excited for this new adventure in our life. It makes me so happy to see Tyler so happy and giddy. He gets that way every time he is about to do anything with film. It truly is his calling in life.

Tyler and I were both excited, but not necessary surprised, to learn we are having a baby girl. We both had feelings that it would be a girl from the time we found out I was pregnant. We are thrilled to be welcoming this precious little baby into our home and feel extremely blessed. We are impatiently waiting her debut in April 2011.

December 2009
Well I finally gave into this blogging thing. My goal is to be better about blogging and photographing our life and its happenings more in 2010. So here it goes. . . .
We started out December by cutting down this beauty...
(Thanks Mary!)
It's a tradition that Tyler and I have to get a permit and cut down our own tree every year for Christmas. We love it! Every year has a different adventure and every year we create crazy memories. (There is only one picture because I didn't realize that our camera hadn't been charged before we left.)
But as you can see in the picture, our tree was in a very tricky place. (Tyler was only a few feet away from me and you can barely see him through the branches! It was on a very steep hill and it was very hard to walk through all the dead branches and plants that covered the ground-it made for an interesting time trying to get the chainsaw started.:-) But we eventually cut it down, carried it down the hill, across a river and got it into the Yukon. It was a lot of fun and a lot of laughing, and we loved the tree!
Then we went to an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party with our good friends.
These are the sweaters Tyler and I found at D.I. We thought they were pretty ugly and had fun getting dressed up in them.
The night was filled with great food, fun games, and lots of laughs with friends. It was a blast and as you can see everyone looked awesome.
Here are a few pictures of Christmas day. I am trying to be better about having my camera with me and taking pictures, but until I get better at that, I only have a few pictures.
Here are some pictures of Tyler opening his presents. My favorite is of him opening the Wii that his mom got us. I knew about it for a month and had to come up with ways to deter him from buying one without telling him that he was getting one. Needless to say, you can tell that he was super surprised and super excited for it.
And here are some pictures of me.
This picture is because for the past two years we have gotten each other the exact same stocking game! Last year it was Canasta and this year it was Scrabble Slam! Ha.
We hope all of you had a great Christmas and we wish you all a Happy New Year!
P.S. I start work and school again on Monday, so we'll see how this whole blogging regularly thing goes. Wish me luck!
